Terms & Conditions

The terms for using Whatisdue: your account, plans and billing, your content, and our responsibilities to each other.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

In short

  • Whatisdue keeps records of client payments. It does not collect, hold or move money, and it is not accounting, tax or legal advice.
  • You start with a 14-day free trial, with no card. After that, a paid plan is needed to keep adding and editing records.
  • Plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • The records you add are yours. You can export them or delete your account whenever you like.
  • Use Whatisdue lawfully and keep your sign-in details safe.

This summary is here to help. The full text below is what applies.

1.Agreement to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Whatisdue (“Whatisdue”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you visit whatisdue.com or use the Whatisdue app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Whatisdue.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. If you use Whatisdue for a business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these terms.

2.What Whatisdue is, and is not

Whatisdue is a tool for recording and organising client payments: what has been agreed, what has been received, what is still due and what is coming next.

  • Whatisdue does not collect, hold, transfer or process money between you and your clients. It is not a bank, a payment processor or an invoicing service.
  • Whatisdue does not give accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. Totals and statuses are worked out from what you enter.
  • You are responsible for checking that your records are accurate and for any decisions you make from them.

3.Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password and sign-in codes private. We recommend switching on two-factor authentication.
  • You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
  • An account is for one person or business. Do not share it or let others use it to avoid paying for their own.

4.Free trial and paid plans

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. No card is needed and you are not charged when it ends.

To keep adding and editing records after the trial, you need a paid plan. The plans and their prices are shown on our website and in the app before you subscribe. Any discount offered at checkout applies as described there.

We may change our prices. If we do, the new price applies from your next billing period, and we will tell you beforehand so that you can cancel if you do not want to continue.

5.Billing, renewal and cancellation

  • Checkout and payment are handled by Whop, our billing provider. Whop’s own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself. We never receive your full card details.
  • Renewal: a plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, and you are charged the price for the new period until you cancel.
  • Cancelling: you can cancel at any time in Settings › Membership. Cancelling stops future charges. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you can resume before then.
  • Refunds: we do not refund or credit the unused part of a billing period, unless the law requires it. If you believe you were charged by mistake, contact us and we will put it right.
  • Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, we will let you know. If it is not resolved, your membership ends.
  • Taxes: prices may not include taxes that apply where you live. Any that apply are shown at checkout.

6.When your trial or membership ends

Your records are not deleted when access ends. Your workspace becomes view-only: you can still see and export everything, but you cannot add, change or delete records until you choose a plan.

Uploaded documents are different. If you do not have a plan, they are deleted 90 days after your access ended. We email you before that happens so that you can download them or subscribe.

7.Your content

The records and documents you add to Whatisdue are yours. We do not claim ownership of them.

You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to provide the service to you, for example to show your records, send the reminders you ask for and keep backups.

You are responsible for your content. In particular, you confirm that you have the right to store the client details and documents you add, and that doing so does not break any law or agreement.

You can export your data at any time from Settings › Data & Privacy. We recommend keeping your own copy of anything important.

8.Acceptable use

When you use Whatisdue, you agree not to:

  • break any law, or store content that is unlawful or that you have no right to store;
  • upload malware or anything designed to damage or interfere with the service;
  • try to access another person’s account or data, or to get around security, sign-in or usage limits;
  • overload the service with automated requests, or copy its content in bulk;
  • resell, rent or offer Whatisdue to others as your own service;
  • copy, decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it.

We may limit requests, remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

9.Other services

Whatisdue works with services run by other companies, such as Whop for billing and Google if you choose to sign in with Google. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms. We are not responsible for services we do not control.

10.Our software and brand

Whatisdue, including its software, design, text and logo, belongs to us and is protected by law. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing. They do not give you any other rights to it.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Whatisdue without owing you anything.

11.Changes and availability

We work to keep Whatisdue available and reliable, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. The service may be unavailable at times for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

We may add, change or remove features. If we plan to remove something you rely on, or to close the service, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.

12.Ending your account

  • You can stop using Whatisdue at any time and delete your account in Settings › Data & Privacy. Deleting your account cancels any active membership and closes the account. Your data is removed 30 days later, unless you sign in again before then, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, that puts the service or other users at risk, or where the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you the chance to export your data.

The sections of these terms that are meant to continue, such as those on content, disclaimers and liability, still apply after your account ends.

13.Disclaimers

Whatisdue is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties, whether express or implied, including that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

The figures Whatisdue shows are based on the information you enter. They are not a substitute for professional accounting, tax or legal advice.

14.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Whatisdue is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or lost business, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Whatisdue in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

15.Your responsibility for claims

If someone brings a claim against us because of content you stored in Whatisdue, or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses we incur as a result.

16.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of Whatisdue is established, without affecting any mandatory protections you have under the laws of the country where you live.

If you have a concern, please contact us first. Most problems can be resolved quickly and informally.

17.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. By continuing to use Whatisdue after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

If part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.

18.Contact us

For questions about these terms, email us at contact@whatisdue.com. If you have a Whatisdue account, you can also message us from Help & Support in the app.
